Vine Dragons

Vine dragons are one of the original dragons in the cave. Vine dragons are one of two species (the other being Blacks) with an alternate or 'alt' form of their sprite. It used to be possible to know if a Vine would hatch an alt from the egg sprite; this is no longer possible, alt form now only becoming visible after hatching.

Vine dragons are considered common and currently have no breed specific action. On scrolls where dragons are organized by species they are alphabetized under their real name of dark green dragon rather than "vine dragon".

Official Dragon Description

Adult:

Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn't true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. They are very violent, and will use these vines to capture, kill, and eat anything it sees that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, its range is limited, and it can't use magic. Also, they tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus will be surrounded by a large clearing.

Matured Hatchling:

Aww... It's a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it... Now there are even more vines. Perhaps something is happening?

Egg:

This egg is sitting in a patch of grass and small flowers even though there's no sun in the cave.

Ho trovato una piccola guida sui draghi dove si parla anche di questi, ma non dice molto. :/

In pratica: falli scopare finchè non nasce un alt come per i bluna o i geode.
